[Mini-IT-Guide]

For all Vista users,

Please burn a copy of Vista Recovery Disk and keep it somewhere.
You will never, never know when you will need it.

Especially for OEM users which most of us tertiary students are (eg. LENOVO, ACER, FUJITSU which comes bundled with the company's crappy recovery disk and not the original microsoft one), we do not have access to repair or command prompt options, in cases eg. when we need it to repair our corrupted system file(s).

So basically, download the image from the link below, and burn it to a cd/dvd with a burning software. I do recommend using this www.imgburn.com , which is free and easy to use.

On how to boot the disc up, i would refer you to read from this site, as i do not think i will in anyway explain better than this guide, which offers clear instructions and visual aids.

Download the Vista Recovery Disk here: http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/

All these problems are making me turn towards open source. If not for the fun games and the applications (like photoshop :s) which i need to use for my coursework..

Long live linux!

As of now, i'm in the midst of saving my newbz lappie, really wish and pray it turns out well man. If not tmr really mati liao.
